About Inlet Wire
A weekly conversation with BC artists,
built to last past the release cycle.
Inlet Wire is your direct line to BC artists. Each week, host Eric Chan sits down with an artist from the BC independent scene for a short, edited conversation — built to last past the release cycle and into the work itself. Listen in, and you are part of how BC artists get heard.
The show is built on conversations that go past the press release. Who these artists are, how they got here, what they are making, and why it matters in the place they are making it.
Editorial stance
Inlet Wire is a time capsule of BC's music scene as it is actually happening. No rankings, no hype cycles, no tastemaker energy. Just artists talking about their work with someone who cares about getting it right.
Host
Eric Chan is based in Metro Vancouver. BCIT Radio Arts & Entertainment and SAE Institute Recording Arts grad, with over 20 years around music, production, and entertainment — as a producer, audio engineer, recording studio owner, record label owner, curator, and artist. His background spans independent music scenes in Asia, Australia, and now BC. Inlet Wire is where that experience meets the artists who keep the local scene moving.
