Submit your music

For BC artists. Two ways in: the podcast and the playlist.

Who this is for

Inlet Wire features artists from British Columbia — bands, solo artists, producers, and the people behind the studios. There's no minimum follower count and no release-cycle requirement. If you're making music in BC and there's a story behind the work, that's the bar.

The two paths

A podcast episode. A short, edited conversation about who you are, how you got here, and what you're making. Episodes run about ten minutes and are built to last past the release cycle.

The Sound of BC playlist. Not every submission becomes an episode, and it doesn't have to. The playlist is an ongoing home for BC music worth hearing — some artists land there first and on the show later.

What to send

Whatever you have on hand works — a full press kit is welcome, and so is a short email. What helps most:

  • Who you are and where in BC you're based
  • A link to your music — Spotify, Bandcamp, wherever it lives
  • Anything that shows what you're working on right now — a few sentences is plenty

What happens next

Every submission gets a listen. If it's a fit for an episode or the playlist, you'll hear back. If you don't hear back right away, it doesn't mean no — episodes are planned weeks ahead, and timing matters as much as fit.
